One evening, I sketched this tribal print while watching PBS' Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise documentary. I was empowered by her adventurous life of activism. My pride as both an African American and a modern woman produced this bright West African inspired print. Even though Maya Angelou fought for the rights of black people I think her message can apply to all people. She spoke for the voiceless. Especially at this time, when many feel voiceless we need to stand up, be bright and be noticeable. This print is definitely noticeable.
With Spoonflower fabric, you can make your own dress, pillows etc or even upholster chairs with the Social Tribe print.
